Downsound artistes feature prominently on Jamaica Music Countdown charts

The results are out for this week Richard B’s Jamaica Music Countdown Charts packing some good news for the Downsound Record label.

Sitting pretty at the top of the chart is incarcerated deejay Vybz Kartel’s How Mi Grown single on the Top 25 Dancehall Singles.

Kartel may be off the scene physically, but the demand for his products has not waned in any way. The self-proclaimed Gaza king is also in the number 13 position with Special Deliver on the Head Concussion label.

Downsound makes its presence felt again on the Dancehall Singles Chart with Ishawna’s Long Finger Nail making steady progress at number 15.

On the Top 20 Reggae Single Chart the Downsound Record label again has a presence this time with conscious recording artiste Nature with the single that enjoyed two weeks in the number one slot.

Competing with ‘fresher’ songs Love You is still rated among the top in the number 13 position.
