For weeks Jamaicans had to swallow the many bickering as the now Prime Minister of Jamaica Andrew Holness’ house was used to score points.
And it seems the house watching has now turned its focus to the dancehall with Beenie Man using his Grammy and other accolades to throw stones at Mavado because of his mansion.
So Mavado has a mansion but is not ‘king of the road’. We can assume that Beenie Man is ‘king of the road’ but doesn’t have a mansion.
Sigh what is this thing with house and money.
The two have been using their social media accounts to score points.
“Nuff man inna the Big League yes, but nuff a dem never win the league yet or carry home the trophy or no medal. We always inna di league, never get relegated. MVP fi ten years years straightttttt. #WeRunRoad,” is how Beenie put it on his social media page.
Fans also weighed in with one saying “Dem inna Grammy League and we inna Mansion league… dem can keep dat, we’ll keep di big house dem… hard work.”
What’s with all these vanity stuff? If you ask us both artists should be using their influence to encourage young people to turn away from a life of crime, focus on their education and hope to one day live the dream.
