Former Calabar High Player signed to Miami Heats

Another Jamaican has given the country a reason to be proud once more. This time it is former Calabar High School student Vashil Fernandez who has signed a contract to play for the Miami Heats in this upcoming competition.

We are sure Jamaicans will have even greater reasons to support the Heats as they cheer on their homeboy.

Fernandez who is 24 years old, is the all-time leading shot blocker at Valparaiso University, and has played all four seasons with the Crusaders appearing in 131 games.

He averaged 4.7 points, 5.1 rebounds and two blocks while shooting 54 per cent from the field.

Riddim Don Magazine congratulates Fernandez who will be decked in his number 14 Jersey when he takes the court.
