Foundation artiste Jimmy Riley has been off the scene for a while. In fact last year he performed with his son Tarrus Riley at Irie Jamborie Anniversary. There he went on stage in a wheel chair. It was clear that there was something wrong with him.
Although there have been whispers in the air on his condition about his being really ill, this is the first time he has come public and asked for help.
On his Facebook page Jimmy Riley Official he had the following message:
“To all my fans and friends … I am not well at the moment and would ask you to please keep me in your prayers. Father blessings to you all in 2016. Thank you. ‘Wonderful’.”
Jimmy Riley is known for songs such as Love and Devotion, Tell The Youths The Truth, My Woman’s Love among others.
We at Riddim Don will be sure to pray him up. Whatever the situation we are wishing him a speedy recovery.
