Reggae singer Junior ‘One Blood’ Reid and the JR family are in mourning.
Thrilly, the singer’s older brother reportedly died last week Tuesday from complications of hypertension at Medical Associates Hospital in Kingston. He was 55.
Thrilly, whose real name was Patrick Reid, is survived by 11 children and eight grandchildren.
A integral member of the JR Productions camp, and a producer in his own right, Thrilly has been described as the person who was alway there for everybody. His brother, Junior Reid described Thrilly as his “best friend”.
“Is a great loss, Thrilly was mi bes’ friend. Somebody mi coulda always talk to,” Reid is quoted as saying.
