A lesson to men who love to go the clubs and floss like there is no tomorrow. Be careful of who you take into your homes! New York Knicks player Derrick Williams has found this out the hard way after partying with two women he met at a club after which he took them home.
The Knicks forward was robbed more than $600,000 in jewellery the following morning.
On Wednesday, cops released video of the two women, taken from a surveillance camera at Up&Down on West 14th St., a nightclub in Chelsea.
According to police, the women entered Williams’ apartment at about 5:20 a.m. Saturday. They stayed for about 90 minutes, and after they left, Williams realized about $617,000 in pricey trinkets had gone missing.
Police are referring to the two women as “persons of interest” in the theft.
Among the stolen jewellery are a $145,000 watch, a diamond chain bearing the Hennessy logo worth $25,000 and a $35,000 Rolex, this according to police sources.
