It is finally here! Peter Tosh Museum will see it’s official opening today by the Prime Minister of Jamaica, Andrew Holness.
The ceremony will see the involvement of the international and local media as well as industry insiders, celebrities and members of the late Peter Tosh’s family.
Those in attendance will get the first opportunity to see the exhibits such as Tosh’s instruments, including his famous M-16 guitar, nunchucks, unicycle, original handwritten songbooks, and recording masters, will also be available for viewing.
The project which was a joint effort between Tosh family and Pulse Investment will sure to attract many visitors and they will get the opportunity in getting more insight on the artiste who was murdered at his home in on September 11, 1987.
A tribute will be held on Saturday at the museum site. It will feature Tosh’s son, Andrew, as well as grandson Dre Tosh and his Word, Sound and Power band among other performers.
