All we can say about this news is that it’s about time! The singer has made a positive contribution to the reggae music industry. His songs speak volumes and just like Bob Marley his many social commentaries are out there.
The Peter Tosh Museum will be located in Kingston and will open its doors to coincide with the 40th Anniversary of the launch of Tosh’s famous song Legalise it.
The Museum, for the first time, will display a complete collection of treasured objects of Peter Tosh, as the M16 rifle-shaped guitar and the monocycle he used to move by his homeland.
In the Museum, visitors can also learn about the concerns of the artist through audio and video recordings.
Tosh daughter Niambe McIntosh said the opening of the museum is a big step in the preservation of her father’s heritage as it will see his message spreading about equal rights and justice in the new generation.
Big move and more power to positive reggae.
