Reggae singer Peter Broggs is dead. He died on December 19 at the age of 61.
Peter Boggs started his career in the 70s has recorded songs such as No Ism Pon Di Riddim, Lead Us Oh Jah Jah, Just Because I Am A Rastaman and Cease The War suffered a stroke 11 years ago and never fully recovered from it.
After the stroke he lost his eye sight and his speech got slurry and he has not recovered ever since.
During his career Boggs released several albums including Rastarai Liveth! in 1982 and Jah Golden Throne in 2000. His hit song International Farmer was also relicked a few years ago by French label FuryBass to wide acclaim.
Boggs has left behind his two children, other relatives and friends and his fans.
