Sean Paul King of Dancehall?

Sean Paul King of Dancehall?

In an online article on praise was given to Bajan beauty Rihanna for shedding new light on dancehall through her hit son Work…nothing is wrong with that it’s is after all true.

But in that same article Sean Paul was referred to as The King of the Dancehall. Hmm that’s a very interesting statement as that now has three claimants for the title.

Yellowman, the self-proclaimed Beenie Man and now Sean Paul.

Beenie Man and Yellowman certainly has longevity in the business, Beenie starting from a child and still being relevant today. Yellowman climbing his way after shining in the Tastee Talent Contest and is still in demand especially on the European circuit. Then there is Sean Paul a late bloomer and enjoying spurts of brilliant sales. Grammy win …but without his elaborate backdrop of performers he fail to sizzle on his own … the same can’t be said of the other two.

So who is the real king? Guess fans will have to decide.
