Multi-Grammy winner Toni Braxton has been hospitalized and is reported in serious condition in an Atlanta hospital.
According to TMZ the 48-year-old singer who has songs such as Breathe Again, Un-Break My Heart’ and Love Shoulda Brought You Home is suffering from Lupus complications.
Braxton herself had revealed in 2010 that she had been diagnosed with the disease.
According to the Mayo Clinic: “Lupus is a chronic inflammatory disease that occurs when your body’s immune system attacks your own tissues and organs. Inflammation caused by lupus can affect many different body systems — including your joints, skin, kidneys, blood cells, brain, heart and lungs.”
Braxton’s boyfriend Birdman cut short his current tour in order to be by her side.
Riddom Don Magazine is wishing the singer a speedy recovery.
