Vybz Kartel still the best from prison

Vybz Kartel still the best from prison

Love him, hate him, curse him or praise him it seems that there is a magic to Vybz Kartel that not even being incarcerated can quench.

In The Guardian’s The Playlist highlighting some of the best genres for the year 2015 – Kartel made the cut for reggae.

“However, it seems that dancehall can’t find a free and clear competitor for his World Boss crown. Though Gully Bop’s Who She Want alongside the UK’s Stylo G, wasn’t bad, 2015 didn’t confirm the potential demonstrated by 2014’s huge My God Dem Nah  Bad Like Me” are words penned about the artiste who refers to himself as The Teacha.

It’s 2016, and it’s left to be seen which dancehall act will now step up to the plate to dominate.
